A few years ago a friend of mine contacted me with news that her 18 year old nephew, Rob, had been in an horrific car accident and suffered a terrible spinal injury. Their world was naturally crushed.
I put them in touch with Mick Donegan, the brains behind an amazing charity called Special Effect. It turned out to be a life changing contact for them. Rob is now a qualified solicitor with a full time job and he’s a wheelchair rugby coach.
